Endless download

ISSUE
The client kept downloading stuff, yet the downloaded stats remained "0 bytes / 0 bytes". After several hours, what should have been done in 1 hour, it was still going. System monitor and client's network usage shows network activity during this time.

OS
Windows 10

STEPS
The client updated itself with latest changes, and appeared to start downloading a game update. Specifically, Rainbow Six Siege's 2.1.1 patch that is 2.7GB.

RESULTS
The patch download is in "Starting" state, with "0 bytes / 0 bytes" forever (several hours) but you see network activity.

EXPECTED
With the active network usage, the download should have been finished long ago.

NOTE
OS restart fixed this issue.

Thank you for your exemplary report so far. Good to see some Ppl do read & follow instructions from the sticky "How to report a bug".

For a possible next time,
(left top corner) Steam -> (dropdown menu) Settings -> (tab) Downloads -> (button) Clear Download Cache
would likely have resolved the issue without the need of a restart.
