Hi all, could you help us identify areas which aren’t localized but you feel should be, or situations where the experience for non-English speaking users is generally poor/difficult?

Steam

• "Sign in" button in Steam Community login page is not localized
  
• Offline Mode placeholder HTML page (Steam directory/steam/cached/offline_lang.html) only have localizations for few languages
  
• OS X Steam menu does not show up localized: http://i.imgur.com/BMNkVnt.png

Team Fortress 2

• The font used in the Contracts (O CRA) does not support non-English characters (reported on July 11th, 2015, TF Team said they'd look into it, no further updates since then): http://i.imgur.com/aWmSfRi.jpg

When we purchase a product on Steam (whether is a game or a Steam Community Market item), and we receive the receipt email, the email is not always in the current user selected language but (usually) in english.

Also, when you want to create a guide, in the "What categories does your guide belong in?" section, the "Languages" string is not on STS, neither the languages (maybe it is intentional?)

In BP, the "Filter Items" category isn't fully localized. (e.g. http://i.imgur.com/XzBGsVn.png & http://i.imgur.com/9Ee4gaA.png).

The coupons aren't translated in BP: http://i.imgur.com/ujiif1W.png (plus there's something weird with the date)

"Options for this user" isn't localized: http://i.imgur.com/3u7Ph3J.png (and maybe "Options" too, I don't know cause we use, most of the time, "Options" too in French.

The plural and singular strings for screenshots uploads aren't localized: http://i.imgur.com/1hEU1T5.png - the "posted a status" string isn't neither. http://i.imgur.com/Fdfuc4c.png - same for "now owns": http://i.imgur.com/twnmIe0.png - actually I'll stop there for BP activity, I don't want to spam haha. But basically, most of the BP activity isn't localized.

In the "Search the Community" part, "Custom URL" ( http://i.imgur.com/qE1BrVQ.png ), "Also known as:" ( http://i.imgur.com/jktZffv.png ), "This user's profile is private" ( http://i.imgur.com/RqDEz93.png ), and "You have 1 friend/group in common" aren't localized. (and maybe more, like the BP activity)

In the News, some strings in the "Channels" section aren't localized: http://i.imgur.com/chy00v4.png (Announcements, Client Updates, Steam Community...), here's the page: http://store.steampowered.com/news/

In the "Screenshot Uploader" window, the date isn't localized: http://i.imgur.com/oJB5JpI.png

Maybe we could translate TF2 Updates/News/Blog? Like D2 or CS:GO. http://www.teamfortress.com/

The bolded are strings added by the creator of your skin; they appear correctly localized with the default Steam skin.

I'm not sure whether unlocalized images qualify for this thread, but if that's the case, there's this image at the top of the wishlist page, when sorted by rank, saying that you can drag and drop your wishlisted items to reorder them.

Slightly unrelated, but will we ever be able to actively edit and translate storefront content again? After using the discovery queue feature for a while I realized that many games on Steam could really use a better localized store page description. Some devs/publishers really are clueless.
