SS-Regiment “Deutschland” was raised in Munich, Bavaria on the 1st October 1934 as I./SS-Regiment 1 of the SS-Verfügungstruppe (I/SS1-VT). And was initially station in the Herzog-Wilhelm Kaserne on Herzog-Wilhelm Straße in Munich’s old town, however it would later move to modern barracks in Munich Freimann in 1936. Comprised of volunteers from the Bavarian State Police and Allgemeine-SS. It would from the out break of the Second World war see more than it’s fair share action; from Poland 1939 as part of Panzer-Division Kempf to Holland - France – Yugoslavia – Russia as part of the SS-Division VT and later SS-Division “Das Reich”.

This is not only a virtual re-enactment group. But also research and study group whose members are always striving to learn more about the daily lives of the German infanterie man during the second world war. As well as the study of the tactics that he employed on the battlefield.
