Group for the L4D2 server.

Sign up for a clanforge account at http://multiplay.co.uk

Message Bazza wih the E-Mail address used and you will be added to the admin group. You can then do some basic stuff with the server, like restart it or kick players to clear it for a game.

To connect to the server you need to type the following into L4D2 console:

mm_dedicated_force_servers 109.169.60.5:27015

Before making lobby, also log into the clanforge site and clear the server just before starting the game.

When in game you can manage the server by typing sm_admin in console.

I personally have bound keys to those commands. You can do this by editing or creating if you haven't already got it, your autoexec.cfg file. It is located in your L4D2 folder, around here somewhere

Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\cfg

Add the following two lines:

bind "F2" "sm_admin"
bind "F5" "mm_dedicated_force_servers 109.169.60.5:27015"

And save.

Now when you start the game, pressing F5 will set you up to use the server. Pressing F2 in the game will bring up the admin menu.
