protection:
general:
- Always put a TC in the lowest floor of your base and check (/showsphere) if it completely encloses it.
Protection
- it is a good idea to close TCs behind walls. If you need to adjust permissions just use /remove to access them
- You can also place code locks on latches and gates and should whenever possible
- If you are building on your own and not part of a village/community it can be a good idea to build a small (single) ring of protection boxes around your base. This can give you room for further expansion and also prevent anyone from building right up against you.
General
- upgrade foundations to wood as soon as possible as twig foundations can decay. Always upgrade the foundations below TCs first.
- try to upgrade foundations to stone as soon as possible so no one can get in underneath them
- once you have finished editing a sign remember to lock it
- Never make your code lock password something like 0000 or 1234. Use something easy for you to remember.
I would appreciate your help and corrections!
- never sleep on the ground floor, because bears and/or wolfes can slip through foundations and kill you, so better you build a second floor to sleep on when you log out

Open console (F1) and type audio.voices 6
Replace the number with the volume you want. 6 works perfect for me, your milage may vary.
