The value of your Steam account and other fun facts about your Steam library
What's the value of your Steam account? https://steamdb.info/calculator/

You get some more statistics about your account and even some detailed information on the price you paid for your games if you scroll down a bit.

This is just for fun, of course. I like that this website doesn't ask for any login data, unlike others I've seen. You just enter a link to your Steam profile (or someone else's for that matter) and click 'Get disappointed in your life'. I suppose the profile needs to be set to 'public' for it to work (?).
  • My account's value is theoretically €6631 (£5109, U$6978, C$7733)
  • The actual cost of my games (with sales): €1505 (£1166, U$1595, C$1791)
  • But for me, the worst statistic to see was 'Games not played: 82%'. - I'm doing the best I can! Damn you, real life, always getting in the way of the important things!
Anyway, check it out for your own account and let us know what you learned, and if the results surprised you or not.

It doesn't actually show the price you paid, that would be private information Steam doesn't share (if they wanted to share it, they would sell it). It only shows the price the games are valued at today, and the historically lowest price they were ever valued at. I purchase multiple games at $60+, but it only shows 1 as there's only 1 that I own that's still worth that much.

Actually, I don't think it takes into account Steam packages or any other Bundle prices from 3rd partyt Steam key resellers. If you purchase a DLC Collection of some sort, it will calculate the value based on the individual value of each DLC.

Still, it's fun information to see.

Ah, that's interesting. I assumed they looked at the date you purchased the game, which is information found in the library, and then they looked at the price the game was at that date, which is information they (and other websites) keep track of. But it seems I was wrong then.

Like I said, it's just for fun :steamhappy: They calculate a 'value' of the account. They couldn't possibly know and take into account everything, indeed, like bundles. It's like looking up the value of your car. That value doesn't take into account the fact that you got the 'leather seats' option at a huge discount or that you had the car re-painted at one time.

Use to use the site near obsessively to see how I was chewing through the backlog. Always a bit of fun.

Let's see: 18.7h per average, ~3400 hours overall, and 35%/95 games not played. Pretty good! Better than the last time I checked, anyhow.

Just a bit of fun. IRL RPG statgrinding, if you will.
