Hey people, anyone knows how you upgrade the Mediterrane cities?

Just tried play Patrician IV - Rise of a Dynasty after a Windows re-install and a GameSave Manager restore. Now I admit that GameSave restored the game's saves, but it did not backup the ancillary saves from the game, so the save is useless. At least not without a lot of work recreating those ancillary items.
If anybody else is relying on GameSave Manager to save your full Patrician IV game progress, be warned it doesn't!
