What level of doneness do you like your girls cooked to?

I like my girls cook to medium. Medium is the best temperature range because it provides a stable girl that is still moist and tender with a good chew.

If you’ve ever eaten a medium rare or rare girl you might notice that they have a tendency to fall apart on you because their centers are soft and unstable. I’ve had girls split in half, the top going one way and the bottom going another, because they were cooked less than medium. Some girls needs some cooking to develop flavor as well.

Medium well girls aren't my preference, but if one tastes good, I’ll happily eat it. Well done is a thing of the past and we should relegate it to the history books.
