[SOLVED] Invisible Special Infected & Survivors L4D2
I used the Left 4 Dead 2 Compatibility Pack, and it fixed my issue with my common infected having missing textures, which is great.

However, it made my special infected, as well as my L4D2 survivors invisible which is not so great.

I tried the .bat file and running it in the left4dead2 folder as well as the l4d_fixes folder. The l4d_fixes folder is mounted above the l4d2 folder but not above the dlc folders or the l4d_movies folder. If you want to see how it's mounted click here[imgur.com].

If anyone could help me with a work around -in detail if it's not too much trouble- I'd greatly appreciate it!

~~THE FIX~~

If you have the same problem I have of the common infected missing textures but invisible Special Infected and survivors it's a simple fix!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO RUN THE .BAT FILE AT ALL. {At least for this fix}

In your l4d_fixes folder, if you only need to fix the invisible survivor/spec. infected models and keep your common infected materials, you can just delete the maps and models folders completely. You can also go into the "materials" folder and delete everything except the models folder. When you go into the models folder you can delete everything but infected.

If you want to keep the maps and models, if you go into the models folder and delete the infected and survivors that too could fix the invisible survivors while leaving the rest intact! But I haven't tried that myself! So proceed with caution!
I CANNOT stress this enough I DO NOT KNOW if that will work. So ALWAYS keep a clean copy of the l4d fixes folder. Play around with it but ALWAYS keep a clean copy where nothing has been altered/removed!

This fix worked for me, it may or may not work for you! If it does then awesome! If not then I'm sorry, keep searching. If your problem isn't quite like that comment what the problem is maybe I can figure out how to fix that specific issue just by messing around.
