I think he means the group chat here, if there is somebody who is playing right know and has open a multiplayer server, you can easy join him. Right click on his name and press join game.

There is no chat menu, the chat you can see is just scripted.

click on the multiplayer shrine and exit (that will connect you to multiplayer

open the game chat menu and look whos in game in group and right click on those ingame and click the "join game"

They will hoepfully accept your invite

I want to play some PvP, but I have no idea how to ask people to play with me. Do I write a request here? Do I have to create a discussion thread? Do I sit in group chat til' someone joins? Or do I send a friend request to someone in this group, hoping they will respond?
