This group should seek to explain why that is foolish, and a smarter option would to be to browse a site like the outpost to find what people are actually buying and selling for and then laugh at the people that obey spreadsheet and don't get any business except from other people that worship the spread shit. I hope you refine your groups goals, as I would love to see one day where people realize the spreadsheet is not the holy TF2 bible.

Show the users of TF2 why the "spreadshit" (as I've taken to calling it) has completely gone past its purpose. It was meant to provide a frame work for the price of items. Instead, the admin abuses the system, and quite frankly pulls his numbers from his ass. You also posted a discussion on "real prices." The real price of an item doesn't exist. It's worth what you want it to be worth, TF2 is a barter economy. If you want to sell a hat for 2 refined, you're going to have to find someone with a double coincidence of wants or in other words, someone that will buy for 2 ref. The spread sheet was meant to give people a starting point in what they should be asking for their items. Instead, people obey it like a bible. The spread sheet says a stout shako is 2 refined? Some people take that as the word of god.

I support the spirit of this group, but remember, keep your head level. Why should the spreadsheet be "taken down?" Don't throw out arguments with no backing in proof, or anything that just amounts to an angry opinion. Spamming his email is not a smart thing to do. It makes you look childish and no better than the admin of the spread sheet. The purpose of this group should to be the "take down" of his site, as you have absolutely no right to take down someone's site, but to spread the word on why it is a bad site. You mentioned the fact he manipulates prices to turn profit. Make a point of it, here's the full discussion of it:
