Unsubscribe from commented profiles?

Am I just being dense or something? It seems like if you comment on anyone's Steam profile, you'll be notified whenever someone else posts there, even if you're no longer friends. Is there some unsubscribe button somewhere that I'm missing?

I don't think you can, but I also believe you stop getting notifications after like three or four more comments on that person's profile.

I want to know this too, I keep getting notifications when other people have commented on someone else's profile (I traded with him once but he's not even on my friends list anymore).

You can't unsub from someone's profile if you commented on it MANUALLY.

It's about 3 months (or the very next post) until it'll auto unsub IF you don't post again.

I've noticed I'm having a similar problem, except every notification I get is "Deleted or removed. Click to remove notification." I'm guessing it has to do with comments, but I don't understand why I only receive the notification when the comment is deleted.

If you stop checking their profile, you stop getting notifications. Just hit "mark all as read" on your notifications and you won't get anymore from that profile. It only gives you a notice on the next comment.. unless you visit their profile (which happens if you click the notification).

Just wanted to say you're wrong. I commented on someone's profile on august 1st 2014 and just got a notification. And it's not "the very next post", because the next post was september 28th 2014. There has been no comments since then until yesterday, and steam decided I needed a notification.

I commented on this guy's profile and he keeps commenting and deleting comments, so I get a notification every hour or so for the past week of this guy's profile without any way to stop the notifications. It sure FeelsBadMan.

If the checkbox to get a notification, placed directly above the comments, is unchecked and you still get notifications, then the "Follow" function might be the culprit. Look for this function under the dropdown menu "More" in the right top corner next to the button "Add/Remove friend".

Not even subscribed to any of the profiles that I keep getting notifications from so this doesn't help in the slightest.
