We never forgot and never will.

The setting is in a suburban household in New Zealand, 2009. Christmas was finally here and I knew exactly what I wished for. It was Modern Warfare 2. I remember distinctly my parents wrapped it up in a 'Raid automatic spray' box.

Modern Warfare 2 is the roots of my gaming hobby/addiction, and I pray I'll never forget. I can't ever repay Modern Warfare 2, but I hope it sleeps knowing it was great while it lasted.

Modern Warfare 2 is my roots. Without its creation I don't know where I would be. Would I have worked hard to earn my respect in the community? Would I have branched onto other competitive games? Who knows? But hell, I was on a good run.

I never lost the enjoyment of playing that game, not a single day. It matters not what happened, but rather no game has ever kept me in a state of enjoyment to an enlightened manner.

But its not just the game that should take all credit. No no. The game was the medium, and the stimulus was only but the CG community. The pugs at 2 in the morning, the mighty teams I worked hard to join, the friends I met along the way.

Memories will last forever. In your dying days we felt the same intensity and joy that overwhelmed us from the first time we ever played, and that is true beauty.

Finally I would like to congratulate the community. Making the game the best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ experience I could have ever asked for. The only modern day FPS where people are actually talking over the in-game chat. True beauty.

Although you had issues with NAT types, tactics such as 'One Man Army' noob-tubes that closet homosexuals favored, ect. The experience will never be hindered and the annoyances only added pure enjoyment to the game. Who the ♥♥♥♥ cares if there are campers, tac insertions boosters, gaymores and cooked nades. Nothing in this world worth having comes easy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Some people search for their entire lives for what we have and never find it. I won't give up. I'll fight for you.

Thanks Modern Warfare 2. Not with us now, but forever in the heart.

-Pink Cherry Dildo's, A team comprised of girls, subset from the Cobra Gaming Network, who used the super broken lunge knife as their only weapon.

-ACR based game with the occasional vector or MP5k
Season 4
-Extinguished from us long before its time
-The Esenix Skidrow strat. Lest we forget.
