Hello. I am a newbie at this mod. I am looking to know how I could play my first battle. There is no game into the servers. Are there precise periods for multiplayer events ?

Is anyone willing to play a few battles and act as a mentor to a "mature" (old and slow) newcomer to NTW and NTW3?

Hello, just joined looking for some NTW3 MP matches. I am still improving but vs the Ai is too easy and boring. I have plenty of experience in other total wars and other line battle simulator games such as Ultimate General Civil war.

@[2ndNJ(A)]Cpl.Thermaltoast4 This happens because the mod's terrain works on a scale of 1:3 meaning 1 meter/distance unit in the game = 3 meters in real life. So when you see a musket ball landing 30 meters in front of the soldier firing it, it is actually landing 90 meters in front of him.

Side note: The soldiers work on a scale of 1:6, or at least, cavalry does. Meaning that one horseman in game = 6 soldiers in real life.

Hope this clears things up.

i love the mod but musket ballos dont come out at 45 degree angles to the barrel :)

I am installed this mod a lot of time ago, i have suggestion if they developers can add in mod:
1.More italian states, as Tuscany, Papal States and Venice.
2.Add irish revolters
3.Add american states in processes of independence :Brazil, Haiti, Peru and Bolivia(North Andean Confederation), La Plate(Argentina), Gran Colombia, Mexico.
4.Add colonial spanish and portuguese troops.

Guys, I have a problem. I have installed Napoleon Total War 3 7.2, but when I go to play a single player battle or join some one else, it takes me to the game room, where you can choose army's, but it is greyed out like it is loading and I cant do anything, please help.

There are no rules, you don't have to change you picture OR carry a Clan abbreviation if you don't want to ... it's all about learning the mod, fighting people with similar skills as you, and most of all enjoying the NTW3 experience!

Download and installation

Download 7.1b patch (2.1 Mb): {LINK REMOVED}http://www.mediafire.com/file/r4ollzox90835ua/NTW3-7.1b-setup.exe
You don't need to install version 7.0 before.
Uninstall any previous version of NTW3.
Launch NTW3-7.1-setup.exe, choose your language (Polish not available).
Select NTW root directory (by default "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War")
Wait casually during installation process.
Launch NTW3-7.1b-setup.exe, choose your language (Polish not available), select the same folder.
Launch the "NTW3 v7.1" shortcut on your desktop, or Napoleonic Total War III.exe

@Frederick der Große Well the radical solution would be to unistall everything, you probably didn't unistall the last version. So just unistall NTW from steam.
Then go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War
if there is NTW3 files, unistall them (do not deleting them just unistall) , then re-install NTW Vanilla, and follow the instruction to install NTW3 V7.0.
But if I may give you an advice , wait. V7.1 is about to be released. And to install it you must have nothing more that NTW vanilla in your NTW folder.

Ok NTW3 v7 Does not work for me at all. If I try and launch any battle the game will crash without warning and the screen where the map you would be fighting on should be is plain white. Was there some sort of map pack I had to install? Ive tried reinstalling both NTW and NTW3 but neither worked. Please Help D:
