What differences in the story are there between the movie and the PS2 original game?

I have seen the movie and it kinda goes by the story of the ps2 original I liked the movie and kinda liked the game but it will never be as good as the originals

So they're making a reboot of the original game (or games) for the Playstation 4 and it's remastered in HD. Seems cool. Also COME SOONER MOVIE!!!

Alrighty, where is this Ratchet & Clank feature film we were promised? As evidenced by the second teaser trailer the movie is near completion. But there is still no word from Insomniac, Sony or the animation studio, Rainmaker. Is this movie happening or not?
