Boycott MW3 on the PC!

This Group is for everyone who isn't going to buy the upcoming MW3 on the PC. With this group we want to show that we are done with the Activision bullshit and won't buy another CoD game until they release something decent and stable. We want a new engine for the Call of Duty series and we are unable to bear the horrible console port, that has once one of our favourite gaming series, anymore.

We are sick and tired of Activision's overpriced Call of Duty series, that lacks of innovations. Furthermore we can not endure the 15 dollar/euro map packs which lack in content (only 5 maps) in comparision to the stuff EA and DICE put out (BFBC2's free map packs) and also split the community in half everytime a new DLC gets released since the people just get kicked from servers when they don't own it and they lose their friends in the game.

We will wait until they release a game that actually makes innovations and contributes to a further developement of our gaming experience, and won't buy a CoD game that lacks the following important things:

# 1: Dedicated server support (since Peer 2 Peer is just horrible for a PC game, that's a fact)

# 2: A brand new engine showing the stuff games can do nowadays (like Frostbite 2), so no overuse of an engine of 2007 (that is almost 5 FU****G years old).

# 3: Customer Inclusion: listen to the your customers, and don't make promises you can't or won't fulfill in any way.

# 4: A mostly bug free release version of the game (Remember Black Ops, with the lagging servers, that weren't playable at all even 4 months after release)..

# 5: No overpriced map packs. (EA and DICE give those out for free with BFBC2 and BF2 like back in the day. Why doesn't Activision do it?)

# 6: No monthly fee to get the full experience. (Why does Activision want money for their Elite service? Battlefield 3 will have the Battlelog and all the stuff that we need for free.)

CoD ELITE will --NOT-- be avalable on the PC

Remember the Call of Duty social network, matchmaking and stat-tracking service, Call of Duty Elite? The one that was available on Xbox and PS3 at Modern Warfare 3′s launch? The one that Activision described as a “necessity” for games? It might not make it to PC.

Beachhead Studio head Chacko Sonny implied that we were getting it a few weeks ago, abeit later than the console kids: “We’re as committed as ever to the PC, but the need to ensure a safe PC environment is greater than ever,” he said. “It’s really extensive. We need more time to get there, so Elite on PC will not launch on Day 1. We’re working our butts off to make it happen, but we won’t release it until we know that PC gamers can enjoy Elite as it’s meant to be.”

It seems the situation has changed. As Eurogamer spotted on the official Call of Duty Elite Twitter feed, we might not be getting the service at all. EVER.

“We are working towards a universal Elite experience but we cannot guarantee if or when a version will be available for the PC,” read a tweet posted a few hours ago. The “if” makes me suspicious.

Call of Duty Elite’s console launch has been plagued with technical issues and users have even been given 30 days free use of the service to compensate. We were told that the PC version of Elite wouldn’t require a subscription fee. We were also told that we’d be testing it around now. And that it would eventually get released on PC, hence all the coverage. I don’t know who to believe any more.

i knew they woullth screw up, we just need to wait if it even really get online for the pc version, also the consoles are screwed with many issues regarding elite, they have been given 30 days premium as a sorry.
