Competition for one week only - 7th August to 13th August: Get the Sandvich Stacker High Score
We've shown off TF2Maps.net 's 72 Hour TF2 Summer Jam showcase to you on this week's show[www.kritzkast.com]. We were particularly impressed by the Sandvich Stacker, which earned the creators PotW status.

Sandvich Stacker is a free-to-download game where Heavy and Pyro attempt to build the world's tallest, gravity-defying sandvich, taking great care not to drop any ingredients more than 3 times.

Being the most competitive voice of KritzKast, I've decided to make use of this to challenge our viewers who want to stack sandvich ingredients: beat my high score. To set the bar high, the score you'll be working to beat is 3.07 M, as pictured in this screenshot.[i.imgur.com]

Three ways to win
  1. The person to get the highest sandvich stack before the competition end date/time wins a Vintage Lo-Fi Longwave.
  2. The first person to beat my score (and post their proof here) gets a free SFM poster request, and a signed hat!
  3. Update: now anyone who can post a video of them beating the 3.07m mark will win a Unique Lo-Fi Longwave

Rules:
  1. Don't be a ♥♥♥♥.
  2. Post your proof to this thread by August 13, 09:59 AM CST.
  3. Best proof would be a video, but at a push we'll accept screenshots too. Although those will be heavily, heavily scrutinised.
  4. In case of confusion see rule 1.

Winners (so far):
SFM poster request, and a signed hat: Teleportato

Tallest Sandvich: 4.18m/4.41m by ✌LazyRaider✌
with honorable mention (honourable enough to bag a Vint. Lo-Fi) to Dr. Scaphandre

Unique Lo-Fi: Umbra, Dr. Scaphandre, Faghetti, ✌LazyRaider✌, rdst, >=SF=< El Supermano, Top Quacker, Silux755, Nixim, pants, Axiee, Fatscoob, Dirtbomb, Fr3unen, ghorius, Golden Bucket | Auto📞, [LyT :D] Inkisidore | ABG!, Ronald_D_D, Dlinnbli, gicone75, RETF2 ┃ Maestro Đarkharmen, Turtleduck, ¬°Bubbzies, Boshy, Sir Taco, ☁TTT☁ Rahgot, seevan, Milkys, BASEBALLFURIES, RedPhoenix, -\/G- END (ngc),

Got 3.17m after playing this game for about 2 hours straight, I'll post a video of the winning attempt soon as proof, but here is a screenshot for now.

Can't some people get Lo-Fi Longwaves even if they don't have the highest score by Saturday? I don't care if it's not Vintage, I just really want the hat.

Nope.

Then forget it. It's not worth the hat to play this broken mess. There's no options menu to turn the annoying music off, the objects constantly clip through each other, and they don't stick properly. I positioned a slice of cheese perfectly flat on a piece of bread, it lands perfectly flat on the bread, then suddenly it becomes sideways.

I'll agree that this game is mostly luck when it comes to landing objects properly and should be updated, however for a game made in a 72hr period from 2 people that probably aren't professional game devs I am impressed.

Also you can mute the game entirely w/ the Volume mixer if you did want to not listen to More Gun for the next 5 years.

Then they should've waited for it to get more polished before they made the contest. The whole 72hr period excuse is invalid when the contest was made long after the fact.

Yea, looking back on it. The 72hr argument dosen't apply because they could have still could have updated it even if it wasn't the contest version. My bad.

I can't do it. Tomatoes are going through the bread. Because of that, the stacks become so broken early on, even though the tomatoes look like they're landing perfectly still. If everyone who broke the high score got a Lo-Fi, and the highest score got a Vintage one, then I would grin and bear it. But only one is being given away, so I'm just wondering why bother sitting through this broken unfun mess?

Updated the competition. Provide a video of you beating the 3.07m mark and you'll bag a Unique Lo-Fi Longwave.
