The KF Coop experience

This group is dedicated to the the coop game Killing Floor.

I made this group to gather both new players and veterans alike to fully enjoy the experience provided by Killing Floor.

Truly, the best moments one could have in this game would be playing together as a team and destroying the opposition with superior team communication and tactics. Working together as a team to achieve victory and survive against terrible odds.

So, to everyone here enjoy your stay and remember to have a blast in KF... Coop Style!!!

(On another note, I don't have any servers that I pay for, but whilst playing I will always create listen servers labelled for the group and on request can make dedicated servers for the game as well!)

Well, this group is just getting started as you should all be able to tell. My inspiration for creating it was due to the friends I have and made during the Killing Floor free weekend that recently occured. Simply to have a chat room to communicate in while we played in servers.

Now that is over with and I would like to try and maybe expand a little. Get some new players and eventually make a permanent server for the group.

Considering the group is quite small this may be a pipe dream, but since gaming is always fun and meeting cool people in game is also fun I see no harm in trying.

Everyone is allowed to invite, so if you would like to help, simply invite people you know that play Killing Floor and might like to be in the group. Of course I'm looking for nice people to play with in game and no assholes or anything haha. I doubt that will be much of an issue though.

Another thing I want to bring up is custom maps. I have a few of these myself and was wondering if anybody has any particular favorites that we should add? I know of the whole grindhouse thing and see a lot of cool maps coming from there, but what ones are the coolest in your opinions? I'll put them in custom servers for everyone to enjoy as well if I see any really good ones popping up.

Well yes, it is sad for many players that may not have the means to pay for the game. But yes, the free weekend is over.

But not all is bad, I'm sure most players that enjoyed the game over the weekend will surely buy it, and anyone willing to play in coop with us can join the action online.

Just a note for that weekend, I took a tour over to the Steam stats page a few times, to see what games were top dog for the moment. I see the usually sets of CS:S and CS on top, with Team Fortress 2 running in the mix as well, but something caught my eye. Killing Floor was in the top 4 on the list, right on top of the esteemed Left 4 Dead. Seems the free weekend attracted quite a few new players as well as the update attracting veterans to play once again. Just enough to beat out Left 4 Dead in the amount of players and servers active at the time.

When you pair this with the new fangled advertising tech Tripwire integrated into the servers you can see that the pairing should net quite a bonus income for the small development team... Which bodes well for the idea of future updates and patches that may even exceed our recent one.

Well, that's all for now. I hope the members I added her, although few, will get the game now after enjoying it and continue to play online with the rest of us!
