Hello jaywalkers, ahwile back I said that i was going to make a minecraft server of the latest snapshot. Now that 1.8 is out, Im going to start this thing up. Instead of tryouts, im just going to invite you and explain the rules down below in a bit. What's going to happen, is that there is going to be a world boarder, and every week, or two, im going to expand it maybe 500 blocks or so. It all depends. The server requires you to be atlest somewhat active, but its not to much of a big deal. BUT if you want to be on the server, you need to be on for the launch NEXT SATURDAY at 6:00 PM EST. Which should be saturday the 20th.
Now let me go over some general rules. These must be followed, or you won't be on the server. (this is mostly common sence and being ethical)
-NO GRIEFING/RAIDING this is a big one, and let me also remind you that this is not factions, but a safe communtiy, where no griefing is allowed
-BORROWING is allowed, but you must be carful about it. maybe leave a gift or something, to indicate that you borrowed something or whatever
-LAND CLAIMING is also a big one. If you want to claim land, it MUST be claimed in a visible square/rectangle of your assigned color using wool or stained clay
-ACCESIVE LAND CLAIMING is very important that you avoid. Claiming too much land is not allowed. How much is too much? I'd say about 12 chunks at a time is plenty.
-SPAWNERS/OPPERTUNITIES FOR MOB FARMING im sure that there are people like myself who abolutly hate when people destroy spawners or mob farm oppertunities. Mob farms must always be public. And be curtios and dont destroy them if you happen to come across one
-COUNSIL: This is very important, and you must know this. IN ORDER TO CLAIM LAND, FIGHT A BOSS, OR ANYTHING OF THAT MATTER MUST BE SPOKEN TO FIRST TO A COUNSIL MEMEBER. the first thing that I build will be the counsil, and I will assign counsil memebrs. This counsil will gather whenever something is brought to the attention of a counsilmen. Such as a thief, and unactive person, etc.
-BEING ACTIVE I said before that being active wasn't the biggest deal in the world, but we would like you to be atleast somewahat active. The most you can go is about 2/3 weeks without doing something. Otherwise you may be kicked from the server.
-DIEING you are not allowed to pickup someones items if they die without their permission. This is a serious rule that must always be followed
But really guys, as long as your ethical and friendly, you will be fine on the server. I will send out invites shortly. Please feel free to accept, even if you just come on every once and a while, or just there to support on opening day! The IP will be posted one hour before launch.
