It fought for the Russians, yes, but its true origins are unknown. And NO, its not American. And it saw a great deal of combat, as it crushed the false tractors the Germans were calling 'Tanks'.

Micheal, an IS-2 is a holy tank; technically all other supposed tanks are categorized otherwise (most usually as tractors). The IS-2's armor has never truly been breached, it's gun only misses when it wants it to, it goes as fast as it desires, and has dual machineguns to fire holy destruction at any cowards attacking from behind! Also, it may play dead, and then reconstruct itself 3 days later. It has many fine qualities, many of which are incomprehensible to mankind.

Thats what an IS-2 is
