The question shouldn’t be “will I ever find someone like her again” because you shouldn’t want to that’s painting the same painting twice and the second time is always forgery. The question is will you actually dare to use those colors, or leave them to rot sealed away in a drawer. Learn to think of what you lost foundly, practicing fondness as a discipline because fondness is just grief with the bitterness filtered out, and it’s the only form of remembering that makes you better at loving the next time instead of worse. You cannot let a cemetery of your past to dictate the architecture of your future because treating your hearts as a museum dedicated entirely to the one who left means you are burying yourself alive inside a monument built for someone who isn’t even looking back to see the dust.
