How to mount content in the mod?

After the SteamPipe update, the mounts have been broken. Now we need to fix it.

(This also works on Obsidian Conflict and such mods.)

You will need:
- At least 30 GB of hard drive left.
- Purchased mountable games.
- GCFScape - Google it, please.

Step 1: Open the location of the Source Engine game you want to mount. Enter the mod path (ex: common/counter-strike source/cstrike)
Step 2: Open the dir of the vpk (pak01_dir.vpk) with GCFScape.
Step 3: Go to common/Source SDK Base 2007, make a folder of the mod name (ex: cstrike), then extract all contents from cstrike folder in the pak file to there.

After done, it should be like this in the picture:

Step 4: Repeat.
Step 5: Now you should be able to mount contents in this mod, by using "Gmod Settings" on the main menu.

P.S: TF2 have multiple pak names, so if you see it, please extract multiple pak dir in one directory.

WARNING: IF YOU DID NOT PURCHASE THE GAME THAT YOU NEED TO MOUNT, GMOD WON'T UNLOCK IT.

It really isn't all the good Gmod game modes are only for older versions you've never played old fretta with the boys. Current Gmod is DOA unless you want to play RP or other worthless games done better in CSGO

"all the good gmod gamemodes are only for older versions" who are you going to play with? no one? as i said its literally only for nostalgia purposes, not most of current gmods gamemodes are done better in csgo. is fucking ttt or prop hunt better with csgo than gmod?
listen, go ahead and play it, thats not my problem i was just mad at the time of writing that original post. but you saying gmod 12 is better than the current gmod isnt true. now if you said "gmod 12's time was better than current gmods time" i'd agree with you on that, but the game itself currently, is better than what we had back then.
