Tired of game developers not tagging generative AI use?

Did you realize the steam notification at the end of the page and now you're halfway through a game noticing a few too many fingers? Yeah that's what this group is for, so you don't spend your time or money on lazy developers. If you are for gen AI, then great play those games! We aren't here to debate on the ethics, just here for the information. Gen AI will also apply to any creative aspects (art, text, sounds, etc), not for traditional AI (enemy AI, pathing, etc.).
Please let me know if I make a mistake; I'm just one person :)

I have not seen the AI banners, so I will look into that :O

In terms of Larian, I am still adding it. There's no excuse to use AI, even if it's unused in the end result. I take a very strict stance on AI and I don't pick and choose what is consider as AI use. If AI was used at any point, it used AI, no exceptions. I understand that some people may not include it as AI use, but I want people to have transparency on their purchases regardless on their take of it :3

You can add "House Flipper" and "House Flipper 2"
The dev uses AI for banners in Steam News.

Also, you can stop worrying for Larian. They have publicly announced they would never uses genAI - at least in Divinity. They have also publicly said AI produces low quality assets, and that it (AI) fails to achieve their quality standards, so even if we had not pushed them to pledge to not use it, they were not impressed by it and would not have used it.

We have to take their word but I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Could you add Expedition 33 to the list? Even though they may not be using Gen AI right now, they had previously used and included it on the original release of the game.

Tragic! I loved the new Baldur, I'll try to remember when the game is added to Steam to mention it. They created such beautiful stories and concepts without genAI so far, why start now; I was really looking forward to the new game too T.T
