Dates and Status.

Hello guys, interest has been expressed in the dates of the tournament, so i have looked it up. Below is a copy/paste from the UGC site, partaining to the dates.


TF2 Highlander League
Highlander Season: Season 7
Highlander Current Week: Preseason Setup
HL Dates: Starts June 11, 2012
HL New Teams: Open for New Teams

TF2 6vs6 League
6vs6 Season: Season 9
6vs6 Current Week: Preseason Setup
6vs6 Dates: Starts June 6, 2012

In addition, If you could leave a comment explaining which class you would like to play, and a backup, that would be great. I already know which classes most of you play, however it would be nice to have it on paper. Erm.. Internet-y stuff.

Lastly, If you have any friends who would like to join, make sure to offer them a spot. After the tournament I would like to make this an open clan. I also think we should have a practice session sometime soon, for us all to play and see how we work as a team.

Some Information about the Tournament

With the exception of Barnblitz, all of the tournament maps will be completely new to everyone: so there is no need to practice specific maps. However, since our first map is either CP or Attack/Defend, I recommend we practice those two game types foremost.

The following are banned:
1 - The Reserve Shooter
2 - The Machina
3 - The Pomson 6000
4 - The Phlogistinator
5 - The Enforcer
6 - The Holiday Punch
7 - The Bombnomicon (I have no idea how that is spelled)
8 - The Jingle Belt and Bootie Time
9 - Polycount Hats (Even if not worn with complete set)
10 - Any weapons that are released after today (May 12)

We can be docked sportsmanship points if we taunt at any time except during the setup time. This includes after the round is over. Even during setup time, I do not recommend taunting excessively. Furthermore, if we communicate with the other team through chat, we can also be docked sportsmanship points. Just be good sports and that should not happen.

Don't wear Earbuds or an Unusual with too flashy of an effect (Purple Confetti is fine, for example). I doubt this will be a problem.
