I've also been giving the hearthsfire crystals various buffs. While the main reason behind that is to encourage players to collect them, would also help with fighting someone who's holding the blacksmith's edge since they'd have to parry the bomb from whichever angle it's thrown, and even if they successfully parry the thrown projectile they won't reflect any damage towards you.
The little circle underneath a player's feet is really hard to see, especially when it's dark or there's a colorcube (like Full Moon).
- Have a way to disrupt snowballing; A weapon that forces people away from the center.
I recommended something like a large coconade that you can throw and has a HUGE blast radius but explodes after a certain amount of time on the ground. When this is thrown into mid, people there will be forced to evacuate, stopping games from just being a snowball once someone has their hands on mid.
It has no real counter besides from "not attacking" which is really unfun to play against, and promotes a passive playstyle. I'd suggest something like a much longer cooldown, and/or the ability to only block certain attacks while being vulnerable to others, like the hammer special or spear special (Which is aguably the most skillfull move to hit in the gamemode atm, and it's completely shut down by parry)
Now that salt-fest is over, here are some of my other suggestions:
- Lower the Max HP to 100
A lot of games are really drawn out since it favors kiting, plus having less survivability doesn't matter *too* much since ctrl f attack do less than 10 damage and specials are punishable if you miss.
