I am a Chinese player. When I use crowbar, I need to compile QC files and SMD files. I need to ask for help
Crowbar ERROR: The model compiler, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceSDK\bin\source2007\bin\studiomdl.exe", does not exist.
Possible causes: The game's SDK or Authoring Tools has not been installed (usually via Steam Library Tools) or the path given to Crowbar (via Set Up Games button) is incorrect.

It sounds like you simply have the wrong directory, or do not have the right SDK installed.

If you have the wrong directory: Make sure it's input right (go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceSDK\bin\source2007\bin"-- is the studiomdl.exe there?).

This happens a lot with people who have multiple drives.

Not installed: Go to your Steam library, and where it says "games and software", check off "tools" too, and download Source 2007.

First of all, thank you for your help. I have downloaded source SDK base 2007 in steam, but when I checked my C disk, I found that there is no steam \ steamapps \ common \ source SDK base 2007 \ ageofchivalry \ gameinfo.txt in program files (x86). I found that there is source SDK base 2007 but no ageofchivalry \ gameinfo.txt in my steam (I installed in D disk)

Ah, that means you have multiple drives. Just hook up Crowbar so it reads the D drive instead. It'll automatically read the C drive, so if you have your Steam files elsewhere, it's not gonna read it, because there's no files there.

Open Crowbar, then in the first tab, "set up games", select the game you want to compile with, and make sure those are all set to the D drive.

Thank you for your patience. I've adjusted the first tab of the crowbar to my own. When I checked again, I found that the source SDK base 2007 I downloaded from steam did not contain ageofchivalry \ gameinfo.txt

That gameinfo.txt has been the cause of problems for me quite a few times, lol. Try skipping it, and if that doesn't work (it still doesn't de/compile), then refer to this:

Did you try the link? You can also try verifying the integrity of age of chivalry.

If I had age of chivalry installed, then I would copy my txt here, but I don't have it. If someone else has it, you can try asking them for it. Or you could try making a txt file there named gameinfo, but I don't know how that would work.
