Recently, our main soundtrack artist has been unable to continue working on new soundtracks for our new project for the time being. While this is only temporary, we're looking to expand our horizon and make contact with other soundtrack artists.

If you or anyone you know is a soundtrack/music artist who would be interested in working on some stuff for us and getting paid to do so, please say so here and add me (Corrosion) on Steam.

Based in the fictitious Eastern European country of Ghulovka, amidst a terrible political crisis, Affliction allows players to take on the role of a patient who awakes in a bizarre research facility. With no memory of their reason for being there, players are forced to fight for their survival while frantically seeking answers to discover the truth behind their identity and unveil the mystery surrounding the horrific purpose of the facility.

Affliction is a dark action/adventure game designed to engage players with its surreal lore that features a thrilling storyline where players must fight, scavenge, and use anything at their disposal to its full potential if they hope to escape and live to tell the tale. Players will experience the terrifying possibilities of chemical and biological warfare from a first person perspective. The game features many different locations to explore including a disturbing research facility, a dark wilderness, a desolate city, and more. Exploration can be rewarding, but it can also be very unforgiving. Players are advised to use extreme caution.

Hello!

We wanted to give you all some interesting statistics and data that we've gathered.

Up until now, we've sold over 50,000 copies of our games. Not all sales have been made on Steam, but roughly 70% of that number has.

We've helped raise just under $20,000 for various charities around the world. Mainly ones that are for medical research. We didn't do this alone, but we certainly helped.

We genuinely didn't want to take part in bundles in the beginning, but we realized that it was a great way to introduce our products to the public. We've participated in 8 bundles to date and have to admit that we probably wouldn't be where we are if we hadn't joined them.

We started off with a community/following of around 50 people. We've since accumulated over 5000. That's 100x more...

We started off making our first project, Waste Walkers, as a hobby. Thinking we'd only make a few thousand dollars. We've begun to close in on the hundred thousand dollar mark. Not only did our first project do extremely well, so did our second one, Disgraced.

We started off as a single-man team with little experience in game development. We grew and now have a team of around 10 people who all have various jobs whether they be for testing, marketing, artwork, sound design, or anything else.

Despite various sources of negativity, Corrosive Studios has only grown and prospered since its initial founding. Steam certainly helped us accomplish what we've done so far. The community is the biggest contributor to our success however, and we must say that the community's input in the development of our first few games truly made them what they are today.

Just wanted to share some of those things with you guys! Thank you so much for all of your help and support. We wouldn't be where we are today without each and every one of you!

Our new project will be available for everyone to see and vote for on Greenlight in the next few weeks. We hope you will join us again to make another great game!

Hello!

This is a quick announcement to let everyone know that we've really started working on our next project. We'll be releasing more details in the very near future but for now we've got a few basic hints for you. The game will be a first person style game and will be a mix of adventure/action/horror/thriller/sci fi. It will be on a 3D engine and will be a huge improvement over our previous titles.

As some of you may have heard, Steam is removing their Greenlight feature and replacing it with something called Steam Direct. Basically, we won't need votes to get our games on Steam anymore. We'll have to pay a recoupable entry fee that we earn back as our games make profit. This feature isn't being changed for the next few months.

In the meantime, we'd love to get the game greenlit before the changes take place so we can see what you (the community) would like to see in the game. We'd like to ask all of our followers and community members to join us once again in creating an awesome game! We hope to see you all there.
