The question is: how much "woke" and what kind? And by "woke", most people mean that to refer to anti-traditional lifestyles and politics, which often conflicts with Christian beliefs.
I'm actually interested in those details if you wouldn't mind expounding b/c I'm very much unsure if I want to spend $$'s on KCD 2 myself.
Ultimately, if you believe you shouldn't be playing it, then you should not play it. Don't violate your own conscious. It's that simple.
I can't find the website(s) that explains it better.... Creative or Chyatt, I think you have some good links on this subject?

Regardless, the homosexual bit was indeed one issue and the other pertains to a Muslim character. I've seen a lot of screen shots and that character does seem to preach to and insult the player in a number of ways (going so far as saying Islam treats women better, among others).
There are other issues that people bring up too, but I think those are the 2 biggest ones (but someone correct me if I'm wrong). I haven't played it; only seen videos and screen shots.

Edit: not sure what happened to my links with better, in-depth texts on this.... if I find them, I'll post.
As I stated in my original post, it is not the choice that is unacceptable to me, God gives us all such a choice in life – the issue is that in order to give us such a choice, sinful media has been produced by the developers and is financed by purchase of the game:
All sin is of the heart. “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”. It doesn’t matter whether you are playing a video game at the time, watching porn or in bed with another man’s wife.
An uncompromising position to sin will always seem over the top to the spiritually immature. Those who love Christ will become increasingly uncompromising in respect to sin as they walk with God and mature as Christians. They become this way out of a growing love for God and a growing hatred and rejection of sin.
I am guessing that the homosexual sex sequence happens after you save Hans from being hanged and there is a heart symbol that appears to denote this option.
In the first map there is a chapel:

And you can enter a small cemetery church, but is intentionally filled with trash:

The second region has a large number of church buildings, usually in the middle of cemeteries. There is also a prominent cathedral in Kuttenburg. So far my exploration has revealed that you can’t enter any of these buildings, except one crypt beneath such a building that is just full of bones. The omission of the interiors of these buildings, especially the cathedral at the heart of Kuttenburg, that is the largest and most prominent building of the whole city, seems intentional. That comment also applies to the consequential quest lines that would have been associated with the interior and living environment of the churches.
Swearing is almost constant, although I acknowledge this may be an issue of conscience and discernment, so I offer the following as food for thought: “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29
As for paedophilia in the game, what is clear is that, according to the first game birthdate (1388) and the second game year of events when the homosexual sequence occurs (1403), Hans Capon is 15 years old and is therefore a minor according to 21st century western law. I fear that this is just another step towards acclimatising our society to sin.
I cannot comment on the Muslim character’s dialogue as I have not yet met him.
Anyway, I've seen enough here to stay away from the game, thank you and everyone else here for the information.
I don't believe God holds you accountable for all of *their* immoral actions. But, if you feel like you've violated your conscious on something, then yes, do not buy it or any other product. But to follow a strict code in accordance to that would mean living in a cave. I hope I'm making sense. Sin is all around you; Christians are in this world but not of it.
Anyhoo, not sure what else to tell you. If you feel guilty about it, then you feel guilty. Lesson learned I suppose: avoid that Dev.
Also, after talking with several people who have the game, they've told me that to get to the homosexual scene, one has to choose specific dialogues to reach that point. It's not forced upon the player (which is what I initially thought). I personally dislike it regardless, but will acknowledge that at least it's not like some games shoving it down your throat. If they're wrong about that, please say so.
edit: If/when you get to the Muslim character, I'd like to know your experience/opinion on it.
