This is just like the question about games, and I believe the same answer applies. If it bothers you so much that you have to ask a question about it, then it's a good sign you should probably stop doing it. The Holy Spirit convicts us of some things, and for some people their faith is not enough to keep them from getting drawn in and making more of it than it should be in their lives.
But overall, whether you like SCP stories or not, your salvation is certainly not conditional on that.

Kinda reminds me of the 1980s movie "The Thing" with Kurt Russell (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084787/?ref_=nv_sr_1 ). I saw that as a young teen and had problems sleeping the night I first saw it.
