Mills County Farms

Before we play with anyone, we like to do a screening interview to ensure you are a fit for our server, we use this information to make sure that you will fit into our community. A fun and enjoyable environment is what we strive to create for everyone. Here are some things to consider before joining:

-We would like you to have at least 50+ hours of gameplay to ensure that you understand the game basics and know your way around a farm.
(Hours played on FS15 can be taken into consideration in certain situations)

-Having a mic to speak with is extremely encouraged, as we use Discord for most of the communication and keeping immersion in game is something we try to maintain whenever possible

-Mature people only, now we do not age discriminate by any means and your age has little in the decision of you joining. BUT, we are a server with members who are over 18, and at times Listener Discretion is Advised :) Please have a SEMI appropriate screen name

- We run on a Dedicated server that we pay for. (North American Based) Regular participation is encouraged to maintain your spot, we understand everyone has a life and we don't expect you to live on the server. BUT, regular absence from the server will be noted and may result in you being removed, to allow more frequent players to join as we do not charge anything currently to join, we also use the Seasons mod which requires a fairly regular gameplay

( Due to connection issues in game and on Discord, players from other regions may be excluded due to Latency issues, by no means do we discriminate against any race or country of origin)

- MODS - We do have a fair amount of mods which are oriented around American equipment and themes. We strive to only use the best mods available and test them before being introduced to the server. Another reason we ask for experienced players is that so a certain percentage of the mods we use will hopefully already be in your mods list. We do use Google drive to communicate any mods that cant be found in FS17 MODHUB and provide links to any that you cant find

- We're basically trying to maintain a roleplay idea on this server. The idea being that you are a new member of Mills County who just moved there looking for work. Your back story is up to you and how you go about your life is your decision. You can choose to start your own small farm, or start working at the Dairy Farm or Cash Crop farm as a farm hand. The idea is to work and save your money to buy your dream farm. You will be given a small amount of money to start off with. We use some MP mods that allow you to have your own account to keep track of your money and to aid in creating a somewhat functional economy between us.

We use roleplay in many aspects for example, buying equipment is done from a set "store" location and is run by a member to take equipment orders and then sell it to you. Or mabey old man jenkins is retiring and has decided to sell his equipment cheap better go talk to him. We use many little scenarios like this to help in the roleplay aspect and have some fun you must be willing to join in
