New to Blender: Can't import models?

I recently just watching the tutorial video from HellJumper, and it interested me into Modelling. However, I downloaded an Engineer model, and it's giving me pink texture. So, then I tried to import it myself, but to no avail. I installed all the programs correctly, but when I put MDLDecomposer in to make my Engineer model, it wouldn't work. It gave me an error and it won't let me open it.

The procedure entry point Q_AppendSlash could not be located in the dynamic link library.

Anybody know of an easy fix, or anywhere I can quickly find a textured engineer model?

Try using crowbar to decompile the engineer model: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/CrowbarTool
