Bonemerging in Blender
I am trying to apply a bodygroup onto demoman which is for his entire body. So this obviously works in gmod because the bones have the same names but why is this feature not in blender or how can I get around it

The get around to bonemerging in Blender is parenting the object to the bone you want it to move with (or combining the two objects together).

Parenting:
Click on the object, then the armature (bones), after that press ctrl + P, then a couple of options should pop up, click the bone option. After that you should be all set.

Joining:
Click the Demoman's mesh and then click the object you want to "bonemerge" with him of sorts, then click ctrl J, and you should be set.

Unjoining
Click on the mesh and, then go into Edit Mode (by either going into the drop down menu or pressing Tab), hover over the object that you joined with the Demoman and press L, after that right click and navigate to the separate option, and click the first option on the separate menu.

Unparenting:
Select your object and go into edit mode, then press Alt + P (this probably works in object mode too).
Or you could also navigate to the Bone tab and then click Relations, after that click the little x where it says what bone its parented to.

Hope this helps! If you got confused please tell me.
