I need help. Exporting a MMD model (pmx file) to Gmod.
I have looked everywhere online for a detailed explanation on how to do this, but I found nothing.
I would ask the people who have uploaded a MMD model to the workshop, but I don't want to be yet another person asking how as they probably get asked that a lot.

I have downloaded both MMD tools and Source tools for Blender. I've imported the model I want to use and I've messed with the textures, so everything is fine there.
The thing I don't understand is, what do I do from here?
Do I need to add any animations to the model?
What programs do I need other than Blender and NotePad++?
I downloaded Crowbar for compiling, but I realized that theres really no need to compile an already made model, right?

I know, so many questions >_< I'm still in the process of learning, so I'm really new to this.
Thanks for your time! ^_^

If you just export it as is and put it in Gmod, Source won't be able to read it at all. Hence you still need a compiler.

You need to import a valve skeleton and rig the MMD model to it. Unfortunately, I don't know any tutorials on the subject other than 3DS Max, but the basic process should still be the same.

You're going to need vtfedit to convert all your textures to vtf files.
