We seeks new BF2142 players in this group

On another note, if the community is to come back one not only needs new players, but one needs moving titan servers to comeback as well as Northen Strikes servers, for titan mode is pointless unless it moves, and if it moves near to none play on it, and if it is a titan server with players on it the titan is locked and the commander can't fight... no point in having a commander if the commander can't move the titan (X)OR fight. Also those assult speeders no logner being around, or those goliaths unable to be used ont hose more intense gameplay types of maps (close quarters, chokepoint, tatical combat situations... that is far different from that cannon fodder run around and kill everyone stratagy of the MW seriers (which is fun but extremely repetitive).

I don't mean to rain on everyones parade... but if you see the trend dice is following (ea, browser games: ie. bf3) they probably will never re-release it into steam, and if they do, they probably would jsut have one pinput their cd key(s) witha new string added in front to make it unique to own it on steam or maybe some account connection between ea and steam would occur at ones disgression, I can't imagine them having their community spite them for having to pay for a game that they already bought, plus through doing this steams sales would bring new blood into the community. Finally if this were to occur they could make those heapo mappacks/addons that cost a few bucks and are next to nothing (I don't think very highly of thema s you can tell) but hey they can earn additional funds that way, but talking about ti will never get them to do it, create an online petition for ea to start using steam (again) in which new and old games get moved onto steam. Anything > the BF3 UI.

Even then, you probably don't want to bother. You would end up paying near new game prices for it, only to have punkbuster kick you out of pb servers when you have steam overlay enabled. You're better off just getting it from a game store or order a copy online, as you will probably pay ~$20 US for a disc, or 30-40 (at first) if it were re-released on steam. Though, while it would be stupid to pay that, the option being there would probably lead to a bit of a revival for the game, which would be good for its community of course.
