THE GORK N MORK WAAAGH SEASON 3 (Pre-season Draft Closed)

This is the Gork n Mork WAAAGH Conference! An experience for those looking for a little more depth in their Blood Bowl team management. This is a Orc only league where each team competes for supremacy, trying to climb the ladder to the top. After each season, the top teams will be invited to the Gork n Mork Mashup, a knock-out, winner takes all tournament.

So why Orcs only? Each season will hold a Post-season Draft where we will open up the transfer market for coaches to trade players. This adds a new level of tactical team development for each coach.
E.g. your team is getting gutted mid season? Start saving money early on to buy another team's 'star player' for the following season. Can't live with your level 4 player and the niggling injury he just received? Unload him on the market to someone that is looking for that skill set, earn some extra coin. Etc.

This is a great chance to open up a wide range of possibilities for league/team management. So check out the details below to join in on all the fun!

League Layout

Major Mobz
8 positions. Each season is a 7 round, round robin with the top ranked team declared the winner. Bottom two teams are demoted to Division Zulu at the end of the season.

Gork n Mork Mashup
4 positions (top 4 from Major Mobz) for an independent knock-out competition where the winning team takes home the cup. All teams will be seeded via random draw on the BBLANZ Discord channel.

Pre-season Draft
At the start of every season, the Transfer Market will be opened for one week. Here you will be given the opportunity to discuss and organise the trade of players. However, all coaches must place their most experienced player with the highest spp on the market (they have become so cocky that they feel they can score top dollar). If the player has not been purchased before the market has closed, they must be sold to the Free-agents for bottom dollar.

Post-season Draft
At the end of each season and before the Gork n Mork Mashup begins, all coaches will be allowed to sell only one player to the free-agents that 'aren't working out'. This is optional, but creates an opportunity to make some cash leading up to the next pre-season draft.

Free Agents - The Free Agent team will be available to buy players at bottom price and keep them on the market as free-agent players. During any draft period, they will sell players to the highest bidder.

WARNING-PLEASE READ: As some already know there is a little bit of finesse required in order to trade players on the Transfer Market. Please note that all players can only be sold at their minimum value (e.g. a level 4 player may have to be sold at a minimum of 200k+). So it is advised that you save money throughout the season and rookies (to sell cheap) in order to trade/buy desired players from other teams. Or sell some cheap players to the commissioner. Additionally, you must have at least 1 slot free on your team page to sell a player (if you have 16 players, you can't sell or buy).

How To Join

Please comment with your coach/team info (please include jersey colour/logo) in the comments below. And please make sure the spelling is the same in game. If there are positions vacant, you will be sent a ticket in game. However, if all positions are full, your team will be added to the 'Waiting List' until a position is free.

Rules

- One team per coach for the entirety into the league (you cannot own multiple teams in the GnM WAAAGH Conf). So really take you time while creating your team.

- SPECIAL GnM RULE: If any game results in a draw, the winner will be determined by who inflicts the most deaths, then injuries, then KO's, then Blocks. Do not confirm match as the admin will give a extra TD to the winning team.
In addition, if a game has not been played by the cut-off date. A winner will be picked at random.

- Team must be Orc.

- New teams only. You may restart a team, but must delete your old one.

- When creating a team, try not to copy other teams uniform colours/logos. Please check in-game to see what other teams have selected. (There are 36 jersey colours to chose from).

- Please try to personalise your team as much as possible with player names, stadiums and motto's.

- Cut-off dates for each round will be posted on the day of competition kick off.

- You have up to the cut-off date for each round to organise a game (one week per round). The in-game day will progress after the rounds cut-off date has been reached or once all games have been played (The cut-off dates will not be altered). Both divisions will run off the same schedule.

- Conceding will be looked at on a case by case basis, but generally not tolerated. If there isn't a genuinely valid reason to concede a match (i.e. internet disconnect) you will forfeit the rest of the competition.

- Turn 8 and turn 16 fouls is very much accepted and encouraged ;)

- In-game turns will be 2 mins.

- Organise games with your opponent through Steam. Alternatively, you can visit our Discord channel: https://discord.gg/79X87cK (although, Steam is the primary point of contact for all coaches). If you are having trouble organising a game, contact myself (Za_Uvek) or an admin to organise a time.

- If only one player has made an effort to organise their game, then they will be declared winner of the match.

- If neither player has arranged their game by the round cut-off date, then a winner will be picked at random.
