Just remove all friends from your friends list. That's all you need to do. That's the preventive measure, but if you know who's consistently sending you group invites then just remove them individually, or block them.

How do I remove notifications from this groups discussion without having to leave the group cause I hate the constant notifications of people pointing out the miss spelt name like 8 times a day
