SOBRE Another Furry Community

Another ℱurry Community is a place where Furries, Scalies, Bronies, Humans, Non-Furries, Aliens can hang out and game with other members of the community.

Another Furry Community attempts to establish a community for not only furries but fandoms from every environment. We wish to provide a place where you have discussions, game with others and meet new people! Because let's face it, not everyone is the same.

Hi all,

We don't often post announcements here but I'd like to help raise awareness around Men's Health, and Mental Health in general for everyone regardless of gender.

#MensHealthWeek is an opportunity to start up conversations around men’s health, and raise awareness of preventable health issues.

It’s important to prioritise physical and mental health, and to seek support when needed.

Some scary (Australian) statistics:
  • Suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians between the ages of 15 and 44.
  • 75% of those who take their own life are male.
  • LGBTI+ community members experience significantly higher rates of suicide than the rest of the population.
  • For each life lost to suicide, the impacts are felt by up to 135 people, including family members, work colleagues, friends, first responders at the time of death.
  • Same-gender attracted Australians are estimated to experience up to 14 times higher rates of attempted suicide than their heterosexual peers.
  • 1 in 4 Australians are lonely and have no-one to speak to.
