We are a Mount and Blade: Napoleonic Wars regiment located in Australia. The regiment is based on the historically existant 5e Régiment de Hussards that was formed on the 1st of September, 1778. In January of 1791 it was renamed to 6th Hussar Regiment, finally becoming the 5e Régiment de Hussards in June 1793

The 5th Regiment of Hussars are most famous and renowned for being only one of the four cavalry regiments for recieving five battle honours during their service in 1790 to 1815, the remaining, being two other Hussar regiments; the 4th and 7th Regiment of Hussars and the other being the 22nd Regiment of Chasseurs.

With that being said, the regiment only accepts the most talented, proud and honourable of cavalry; those that are the crème de la crème of swordsmen and riders, are fully aware of this and are constantly announcing this to the point of elitism -- in the path of famous hussars such as Lasalle, are willing to prove this even further through respecting the chain of command, adhering to a code of honour... and growing a slick moustache with braided hair.

Announce and remind others of your elite status and prowess to the point of overwhelming cockiness and arrogance...

Yet...

Respect the chain of command by following the orders of your superiors, and always giving your opponent the chance of an honourable death if possible.

Have an extensive knowledge of the rules of servers/events/line battles you attend... and a gentlemen's moustache with braided hair.


(Although bragging and egotistical claims are encouraged, please do not take any insults outside the game. That means personal, racial, religious insults, and etc. Keep all your boasting in good nature, and within the realm of the game.)



If you are enlisting and also interested in advancing further in the regiment, in the teachings of Emperor Napoléon Bonaparte, advancement through the ranks will be earned through merit, initiative, participation, and adherance to the rules of the regiment and the servers/events/line battles you attend.
