3rd ACR are based upon the real life 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiments 3rd Squadron "Thunder" who today are equiped with Stryker vehicles.

Our unit aims to bring tactical realism as well as, as much fun as possible to our Arma experience. We are not as hardcore as other units yet pride ourselves on remaining as professional as possible.

Tankers!

It is time to roll out as a unit within the Chernarus Defence Forces!
Let's have a little drive through the woods, fields, hills and towns of Chernarus.
The main purpose will be developing teamwork as a crew and platoon within a reïnforced infantryplatoon.

I hope to see you all there at 15:00 EST (20:00 GMT) on the Aliveserver!

ps: Make sure not to waste time and organize your addons before the meeting starts!

Hey guys,

I found here the U.S. army field manuals for both Mechanized and Tank platoons. I think it would be good if everybody reads up on these two documents in order to better ourselves as a unit.
