19th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (2nd Latvian) was a Infantry Division of the Waffen SS during World War II it was the second Latvian division formed in January 1944, after its sister unit the 15th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS (1st Latvian). 19th division were fighting in wolchow and near Vilikaja river. And since october 1944 were fighting in Courland (Kurland) together with the 12. Panzer Division (Wehrmacht). It was surrounded in the Courland Pocket until the end (8th May) of the war when it surrendered to the Red Army.
