You can only hide it in your library

AFAIK, you could use SAM to remove all the achievements in that game. I wouldn't recommend it though (I haven't used the software nor tested it for anything).

However, as a potential workaround: I wonder, if you perfect enough games, will the completion percentage at some point be rounded to 100%?

Removing all the achievements with SAM just makes the game count as 0% and makes the average worse on Steam's side. It would work to remove it from Astats, after you update the game.

Also, Steam does not round up, it truncates the decimals. What that means is that according to Steam, 99.00% and 99.99% are both going to be 99%.

AFAIK you can only remove F2P games without contacting steam support. You just have to go to your licenses in your account.

Yes, it should be possible...

First uninstall the game you want to be removed from your account.

Then go here: https://support.steampowered.com/index.php and open a new support account (if you do not have one already).

After creation of your account (use the same e-mail-address you use for your Steam account) sign in and type the name of the game you want to delete in the search box.

After this click on the game name and a new browser page will open, click on the game logo there and you will be lead to a page showing a link "I want to permanently remove this game from my account" .

On the next page, you have to confirm that you are aware, that you won't get any money back. Then you should be done...

This won't work for your stats, they'll remain even if you permanently remove the game from your account.

Really? :( I never tried it, but that's a shame, as it means I have a lot of games, where I will never be able to get 100%...
