We have big news:

You heard it, we'll feature in another incredible festival. This time we're part of LNC's Official Selection! LNC is a big annual event dedicated to narrative games, and we're thrilled to be a part of it. It's fully digital, and will feature several talks and panels on the vast theme of stories in games. This year, developers of the games from the Official Selection will also be broadcasting. Which leads us to the second news...
Behind-the-scenes

We at Mother Gaia will be broadcasting brand new content during the event. Save the date: May 11th is the day! You will be able to watch us directly through our Steam page. We're going to give a small peak behind the curtains of this game that is so special to us, and we also want to have a casual chat while showing some gameplay.

* This event was previously scheduled to 4pm on May 10th, but had to be postponed to May 11th!

I managed to find the original novel which inspired this game, in old proper translation to my native tongue. Oh boi, am I enjoying it. Definitely looking forward to the full game.

Demo update

Since Next Fest, we've been hard at work organizing the rest of our development (which should take us no more than 9 months, if everything goes smoothly). Along with that, we managed to squeeze in a lot of bugfixes and polish that directly affected our demo, so we thought it would be a good opportunity to improve your experience a bit before actual release.

Since we're going to be featuring in a festival very soon, might as well tidy up the place a little bit, am I right?

I hope you enjoy Patch 0.2.2.0. If you were having any issue, give the demo another try! Maybe we fixed it. If we haven't, let us know about it through Community Hub, or our socials.

Really nice demo!

I just finished the demo and now I can't wait to play the full game ! The atmosphere is on point, the art is fitting the vibe beautifully and the mechanics are really nice :D I just have a few questions: 1) I saw in the demo settings that there's only one type of controls. Does that mean there will only be several type of controls based on Qwerty keyboards or will the players be able to fully remap the control or choose the type of keyboard they want? I'm playing on an Azerty keyboard, there's not a lot ...

I thought the demo was brilliant

I don't know if you guys can sustain this level of quality throughout the game, but the demo was REALLY good. All the clever blend of interesting narrative basis and (logical) puzzle-solving from old school adventure games without any of their annoying pixel hunting, un-intuitive inventory puzzles and disorienting environments. Also, the time loop premise is done very well, the writing and the use of source material are excellent and I LOVE the art direction, especially the brave decision to render the who...

Parabéns pela demo! Eu nem lembrava mais deste livro...acho que li para alguma lista de vestibular da vida, em algum século passado. Conferi apenas por ter visto que o jogo era brasileiro e depois me caiu a ficha "Perae, eu já ouvi esse nome Brás Cubas", haha. E a dedicatória para os vermes é um clássico. Bem legal e bonito. Se couber no orçamento, considerem contratar atores para dublarem as personagens. G*mers amam conquistas e é uma boa forma de aumentar o tempo de jogo, fazendo-los tentarem...
