What’s Included in the Tournament of Puzzles Update?

Hit the road with Coach Yoach and experience all new arenas, game modes, power-ups, and PUZZLES! Solve your way through giant, replayable arenas filled with secret passages, alternate routes and randomized puzzles.

Journey to Egypt’s Tomb of the First Escapist, the rain soaked and tech-infused Hackannery, or everyone’s favorite Escape theater The Showman’s Studio!

Face off against fellow Escapists in three new competitive modes Escape Race, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Scavenger Hunt, featuring all different mechanics!

And if you thought things couldn’t get wackier, Tournament of Puzzles features exciting new Power-Ups! Deploy distracting traps against your opponents or or gain an advantage by utilizing assists and secure the win.

I'm playing with a friend and for some reasom this level gets bugged in the "race to the finish" screen, dont starting at all (ignore if there is ant english misstype, my first language isnt english) also we were playing from epic games.

Game won't start for months now

The game freezes after the opening credits, this has been happening since one of the DLC updates. I haven't been able to find any solutions here. I've tried reinstalling multiple times. I have it on Game Pass and Steam and neither work. The email for support is not a valid email address. I haven't gotten a response posting in any of the existing discussions. What am I supposed to do to get any help?...

I wanted to play this game again with a friend after a break of a few months, but we can't play anymore. No matter which escape level is selected, the game softlocks when the level title appears, and nothing more happens. (The sound is still active and the animations too). We tried restarting a new game, changing the host player, even reinstalling the game. But still the same problem. On the other hand, the game works when playing solo. Option to remove timers?

This probably gets mentioned every other week but can there please be an option to remove timers? "Relaxing puzzle game" and "strict time limit" are total antonyms to me. I don't really mind if it would disable achievements or something, I just want to be able to play at a sensible pace without having to blindly rush everywhere....

At long last, we are finally able to share the release date for our upcoming, free PvP update. Escape Academy: Tournament of Puzzles is coming to an arena near you on April 18, 2024!

We appreciate everyone’s patience while the dev team has been applying the necessary polish to make this the most zany content update the Academy’s ever seen!

What’s included in the Tournament of Puzzles update?

Hit the road with Coach Yoach and experience all new arenas, game modes, power-ups, and PUZZLES! Take a look below for details on all the new features headed the Academy’s way.

Brand New Arenas

Tomb of the First Escapist - Deep in the heart of Egypt where Escape began, puzzle your way through the tomb's secret passages and make sure you don’t become a permanent resident!

Hackannery - Abandoned fish cannery turned hacker enclave, this rain soaked pier is overloaded with technological and aquatic themed puzzle surprises.

The Showman’s Studio - Step right up and prepare to be puzzled! The biggest theater in all of Escape boasts a plethora of magical challenges to confront!

Competitive Game Modes

Face off against fellow Escapists in Escape Race, Tic-Tac-Toe, and Scavenger Hunt, all featuring brand new mechanics!

Escape Race - Show down against your friends in a puzzle race to the finish.
Tic-Tac-Toe - The classic connect three where the X’s and O’s are all locked up.
Scavenger Hunt - Search for trophies while you hunt for solutions to tricky puzzles.

This is a great game so far, with just completing the intro portion. I have a feeling I will enjoy this game immensely. However, I do have a recommendation is to have more than just co op available to play these escape rooms with like 4 or 5 friends.

I can not stress enough how amazing this game is. I hate spending money on games, and I have 0 regrets about giving escape academy my money for every DLC they make. I'm hoping for a 2nd game as there simply isn't a better escape room game on the market. The plot line, easy game play and puzzles are all well done.

its like halo 2 and halo 3 met and had a baby, also go play animal well.
