If we could rebind heroes to hotkeys 1-3, like an RTS almost, instead of having to do that extra bit of thinking of "okay I'm on my healer, so I need to mouse wheel DOWN instead of UP to go to my tank"

As the title states, I reached the first boss, the big goo man with the purple shield, and I could not damage him in any way. His shield absorbed all of my damage and seemed to have a timer ticking down, but no matter how much I pelted him, after the timer ran out, he would just stun me and restore the shield completely. I thought maybe you have to damage the shield a certain amount before the timer, but as I said, I absolutely spammed my strongest moves and nothing ever worked. Is there some trick to this...

...and so did my friend. We had issues hosting a game and starting a match. Input issues galore. Missing icons. Blue currency was only gained by the host, knee-capping party-wide progress. Please make the difficulty more balanced so that even solo players can enjoy the game properly.
