The bones of this game are fantastic. The story at this point consists mostly of scattered fetch quests but it's not the story that's the appeal of this game. It's the ridiculous variety in customization and play styles. Anything you can think of and more you can do. Be a geomancer? Pyromancer? Yes.Any form of magic you can mix and mash. Combat is great though you can get overpowered very quickly. I killed a goblin, enchanted its club to fly, rode around on it like a broomstick, got ridiculously high, fell, and turned into a cat right before I hit the ground because cats always land on their feet (they avoid fall damage).
Oh, and did I mention that there's a GRAPPLING HOOK? You can swing from trees and buildings like Spider-Man or Attack on Titan. Also there's ragdoll physics for everything. Oh, and you can upgrade your ragdoll ability to deal DAMAGE WHILE YOU RAGDOLL. You can just laugh yourself at enemies with the grappling hook and manually ragdoll at them to kill them.
There's spells that enchant objects, enchant enemies, remove gravity, create geysers to launch yourself, and pretty much do anything else.
This game is fun. And what's more? It's cheap, constantly getting updates and more content, and it's being made by ONE DUDE. He's super nice and really responsive to questions and suggestions. Even if first-person fantasy RPGs isn't your thing, this is a game and developer worth supporting.

Really fun RPG sandbox. Somehow better than Skyrim.

However, the content currently does not warrant the price tag. What's more, while you get warned about unfished areas and dungeons it fails to mention that almost EVERY area and dungeon is unfinished and largely inaccessible or empty. It's understandable but gets frustrating fast.

Seeing as it just released half a year ago, probably give this one 2 more years.

The game is in an unplayable state. The character's animation states keep getting stuck or when I try to sit at a table, I can't get back up without quitting the game. Currently, my character is stuck in a constant jumping / falling state, so I can't jump again (without yet again restarting the game). I'm stuck looking at the loading sequence more than playing the game.

EDIT: Just discovered the "Overworld" button. It's the final boss of loading screens. Waited almost 2 minutes for the overworld to load on an i9 with 64gb of RAM and a 3080 gpu. It's laughable at this point. Might come back in 2 years if this game gets optimised.
