As much as I like the idea of this game, the pacing is simply far too slow and the resource management too tedious. It feels like it devolves into a game of watching the numbers go up while also making sure some numbers don't go down too much. I've tried on three separate occasions to complete a single campaign on normal difficulty and couldn't bring myself to do it. I can only imagine harder difficulties to be more tedious still.

This is pretty fun, still enjoying it... Had a bit of a rough patch dealing with building caps early in the game, and the game itself doesn't really guide you much towards the tech tree.... All you need to do to avoid the building limit problem is to research stuff.... And there are some mods in the workshop that also greatly up the number of buildings available with each tier..... SO yeah it is pretty fun.... The bases do kind of look like spaghetti with hamsters running around but that's still pretty cool.

The game really should show the humans running around when they arrive!!! Driving a mars buggy n stuff.

Also I was wondering if possible to add monsters to this game in a mod... ?
