Massive multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG is a genre of computer games that combine role-playing and mass online games.

MMORPG can also be presented in a browser-like form, but the main feature of the genre is the interaction of a large number of players within the virtual world.

As in any other role-playing game, the player assumes the role of a character (often belonging to a fantasy or sci-fi world) and begins to manage the variety of his actions. MMORPGs differ from single-player or small multi-user role-playing online games not only by the number of players, but also by the constantly existing game world (which is usually supported by the publisher of the game), existing regardless of the exit of the individual player.
