I've seen some screens with items from chapter 1 in the chapter 2 inventory, but there doesnt seem to be a way for me to continue playthrough into chapter 2. Is this intended?

I don't know what it is but it's always a red flag to me when people have their game categorized as "Female Protagonist". Like why is that necessary? Do we need a genre for Animal Protagonists, Ghosts and whatever it might be you're playing with in the game. And most importantly why isn't there a category of "male protagonists".
