Deep in the mountains, the AI for a data mining facility has gone rogue! A lowly Scorporation has gorged itself on the volatile code mined from the Supermesh and become... well, a really big scorpion. You might even call it a Megascorporation.

In addition to its increased size, damage, and new attacks, it also still controls the mining facility. Be careful not to antagonize it... no way to tell what it might do.

Startup Valley

The area where you first jack in to the Supermesh needed a little refresh. Streamlined to get you to main world faster, it also features some improvements to the Prank War servers.

Security Encyclopedia

Ever wondered exactly what a Proxy server is? Or what Fire enemies are vulnerable to? Just check out this encyclopedia for all the server securities!

What's Next?

You may have noticed that the Zheglov-Mang megacorp has a new outer shell. The surrounding area is also taking its final form with craters and cracks from an ancient war fought between Sol Fusion and Zheglov-Mang. Don't rush to explore it yet, we haven't added the servers and secrets. Those will come in the next major update! Also be careful you don't fall through any holes in the ground - it was a very busy week and not everything is polished yet.

Loot Find doesn't seem to be paying off. I think my character is pretty much screwed.

I have +250% lootfind on my character, since I'm the one who was doing all the hacking. The theory was that the awesome sauce-um loot drops we were constantly getting would carry me and make my pal amazing. But it's not working out for us, and with all the Orous I'd have to spend respeccing, I could've had +0% lootfind and just upgraded common gear. This stat doesn't seem very useful as-is. Moreover, it's just a trap option....

Feature Request: Persistent Hacking Status (optional)

It would be great if the hacking status could be kept persistent. When I start a session and see that previously hacked servers are hackable again, it feels like wasted work. I know this is intentional to enable farming etc. But maybe it would it be possible to offer this as an option? BTW: Fantastic game. Bought it years ago when it came out and I'm amazed that it's still being actively worked on. And yes, a lot has been done since then, it feels really good today....

New Weapon Types?

This maybe be "Impossible" but I had a few ideas for new weapons & wanted to make a pitch for them~ Blade/Beam/Saber "Sword" or Melee based combat items? Scythe with Short/Long Ranged Attacks (I.e strictly Close Quarter combat/ Fires a stream of homing blades when swung) "Whips" Hookshot variable turned into something like (Cyberwire? from Cyberpunk) Also another tiny idea: Would Duel Wielding various weapons be something worth while in adding? Quarkus West Tower bugged with enemy in ceiling.

My friend and I just fought the west tower for literally half an hour. We slaughtered very probably 400 enemies give or take. At one point, we had 140+ enemies left to-kill because we had several Mother Spiders dropping tons of crawlers. All to have one enemy, lodged firmly in the ceiling, stymie us at the very last. My friend was using their largest AoE, an EMP, to zap it, but it just had way too many HP for us to reasonably kill it that way. There really does need to be some kind of catch for the last ...

helix problem

Hello I am at the second floor of helix, and it's nearly impossible to finish all floor hacking because some mobs are spawming outside or the next floor , all we can use is the teleporter but unfortunately using it, teleport us at the oposite ... and close the way back so it's a fail each time .....

Helices is in its Growth Phase

Helices: a megacorporation known for genetic engineering, biotech, and prefab agriculture.

Everyone knows Helices engineered the factory crops and lab-grown foods that helped us survive the 21st century. Along with genetic engineering to make humans resilient against pandemics and food scarcity, Helices is now restoring wilderness and bringing many animal species back from extinction.

Although some say that the genetically enhanced aleph generation of designer babies was a step too far. Plus eliminating seeds from all crops so that they can only be purchased from Helices...

Sticky Situation

Like Oshiro Orbital, Sol Fusion, and Quarkus, the Helices tower is an endgame dungeon with servers spanning levels 35 to 49.

Much like the toxic pollutants contaminating the GHZ, Helices is filled with toxic goo puddles. Watch out, they seem to have a mind of their own! It's a cramped, close-quarters fight as you spiral to the top of the helix. Might be good to bring a shotgun or some explosives.

Encyclopedia!!

Now you can look up every item type and specialty SuperDuper gear in the Encyclopedia! This will help you find the items you don't have and collect the ones you want. Plus, now the Recycle Bin prioritizes the items you haven't found yet.

Root Access

If you're still reading, watch out for a surprise new enemy at the top of Helices tower!
