I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to actually select a character to start the game using the keyboard. I press the number key coressponding to the character, then again to lock it in. "Press Start" flashes, but the keys I've been trained to use during the tutorial (space, enter) don't work, and I have no gamepad currently plugged in (I chose keyboard and mouse at the selection screen). What's the "start" key, please? Or do I need to have a gamepad active, too?...
